juust | 22/10/2009I blogged a post on Hanse Sail 2010 on a new site, and within four minutes it ranked four in Google.

I built the site as demo of what I consider a SEM-blog, designed to score frontpage and get exposure. Added five backlinks, and after three weeks online it is starting to kick ass.
This is a weird video, a whole day hansa sail in 10 minutes, at 2:30 the sail starts.









Nicely done.. from here you’re showing up as #1 when searching Dutch sites.

However you’re not even on the list for my default search (US/English based). Something funny that i saw though was actually the link to this post somewhere on page 3 or 4. Ohhhhh google.

Yeah. I put the geographic target in Google Webmaster Tools on Holland. Since then the blog only shows in the dutch language result list. I am not sure I am happy about that choice :)
